Hubfest 2018 is a two-day startup and investor ecosystem festival, taking place on the 20th and 21st of September in The Hague. Hubfest is the catalyst for interaction, bringing the coolest accelerators, startups, investors and innovation hubs in one place. The official opening of Hubfest will be inaugurated by Constantijn van Oranje-Nassau of The Netherlands. Hans Ober, currently in the Forbes’ 30 under 30 Europe-list, is co-founder and CEO of TicketSwap. TicketSwap is on a journey becoming the world’s favorite platform, with nearly 3 million registered users across the world and counting.
Electric scooter company Bird has been around over a year and operates in more than 30 cities. Bird has raised upward of $300 million from various venture capital firms, including Accel, Greycroft and Sound Ventures.
The closing speaker of Hubfest is Stijn Verstijnen, as country manager of Deliveroo. Deliveroo is available in 14 cities in The Netherlands and works with more than 1,500 restaurants and 2,000 riders.
